1920 Negro League Baseball Season Roster
- Season Opener: SOM’s 1st individual season for the Negro Leagues
- Blackball stars: Charleston, Lloyd, Rogan, Torriente among 12 HOFers, 42 SOM Negro Stars
- Twice as nice: Rated to play as a 10-team league or with 1918-22 Major League seasons
First, Strat-O-Matic created the most authentic set of Negro Leagues all-stars ever. Those 105 players were rated on career stats, fine-tuned for their equivalency to Major League stats. Now, you can play with such Negro League teams as the pitching-rich Chicago American Giants (95-49), the slugging Detroit Stars (85-59) and eight more Negro Leagues franchises, adjusted for a 144-game schedule and also adjusted for comparison to the big leagues.
This roster includes 12 future Hall of Fame players: Oscar Charleston, Andy Cooper, Ray Dandridge, Pete Hill, Pop Lloyd, Biz Mackey, Jose Mendez, Bullet Joe Rogan, Luis Santop, Ben Taylor, Cristobal Torriente, Smokey Joe Williams. And 30 more players who appear in the original SOM Negro Leagues set. This time they are rated to play in a segregated 10-team league, or integrated with any of the Major League seasons of 1918-22.
Either way, enjoy the 144-game hitting heroics of Cristobal Torriente (.362, 107 RBI, 1.002 OPS) and Oscar Charleston (.364-14-99, .993 OPS) and the power pitching of Dave Brown (26 wins, 2.29 ERA, 171 Ks) and Smokey Joe Williams (25 wins, 2.16, 167 Ks).
Requires Strat-O-Matic Baseball 2013 or higher to play. Season roster release new for 2013.
